Maple Grove Road Construction

Construction on Maple Grove Road will begin on Tuesday, May 19.

What and where is the construction happening?

  • Resurfacing of Maple Grove Road, from Highway 24 to Bishopsgate Road and from Highway 24 to Pleasant Ridge Road

When?

  • Tuesday, May 19 to Friday, July 31, 2026

Why?

  • To replace aged surface asphalt, improve drainage and improve drivability

Changes during construction period?

  • Intersection impacts: Will be closed at times as work progresses. Additional information will be provided ahead of closures.
  • Road or sidewalk impacts: Local traffic only.  Both will be closed at times as work progresses.  Additional information will be provided ahead of closures.
  • Detour routes: Will be posted online.
  • Noise/light: Hours of construction are 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, Monday to Friday. Construction will typically end around 5:30 pm.
  • Parking: No on street parking during construction hours of 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.
  • Access (personal driveways, services or amenities): Will be maintained as much as possible.  If impacted, a door knocker will be provided in advance of the disruption.
  • Garbage: When road closure is in effect, the garbage will be collected by the Contractor before 7:00 am and moved to a central area.
