You must be registered by September 15 to receive a Voter Notification Letter in the mail.

Tomorrow, Friday, August 21 at 2:00 pm, is the deadline to file a nomination for the 2026 Municipal and School Board Elections.
August 21 at 2:00 pm is also the deadline for registered candidates to withdraw their candidacy.

The County of Brant, City of Brantford, Haldimand County and Norfolk County are seeking applicants to serve on the Municipal Election Joint Compliance Audit Committee.
Candidate nomination packages for the 2026 Municipal Election are now available online at www.brant.ca/nominations.
If you are interested in running as a candidate, working on a campaign team or registering as a Third-Party Advertiser in the 2026 Municipal / School Board Election, you are invited to attend the event to hear speakers on the elections process, legislative requirements, campaigning and what it’s like to serve on municipal Council.
