Construction in Downtown Paris continues. Thank you to everyone who has continued to show incredible community support to local businesses.
For the week of May 19, 2026, the Ministry of Transportation has informed the County of Brant that intermittent ramp closures will continue at Highway 403 and Rest Acres Road.
Construction on Maple Grove Road will begin on Tuesday, May 19.
Please be advised that the Pottruff Road Bridge will be temporarily closed to allow for bridge resurfacing work. Residents and motorists are asked to follow all posted detour routes during the closure period
Road resurfacing on Pottruff Road will begin on Tuesday, May 5.
Construction in Downtown Paris is underway, with this phase expected to be completed in late summer to early fall 2026.
St. George Road/ Main Street North Road reconstruction will begin on Monday, May 4.
Installation of a new traffic control signals at the intersection of Colborne Street West, Pleasant Ridge Road and Forced Road. Activation of these signals is scheduled for June 2026.
Curb and Sidewalk installation will begin on Main Street in Paris on Wednesday, April 29.
Work continues on Dundas Street East and Paris Road. This multi year infrastructure project is replacing aging underground services and will improve how the road functions for drivers, pedestrians, businesses, and future employment growth in the area – bringing new jobs close to home.
