Assessments

Your property is assessed by the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC) based on legislation from the Ontario government.

If you think that your current value assessment or property classification is incorrect:

• Contact the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation
• File a request for reconsideration

Further appeals can be heard by the Assessment Review Board. The Board is an independent tribunal that has authority to change an assessed value or property classification through an appeal.

You must appeal by March 31 of the taxation year.
