Explore unique buildings and heritage sites for free during Doors Open Along the Grand
Doors Open Along the Grand returns on Saturday, May 9, 2026, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, inviting residents and visitors to explore heritage sites, places of worship, creative businesses, and more across the City of Brantford, County of Brant, and Six Nations of the Grand River.
Every year, visitors to Doors Open events gain rare access to buildings and spaces that are normally closed to the public or sites that charge admission. This year, the participating sites include well-loved institutions as well as unique spaces that many people have never had a chance to explore:
- Adelaide Hunter Hoodless Homestead, 359 Blue Lake Road, St. George
- Bell Homestead National Historic Site, 94 Tutela Heights Road, Brantford
- Brantford Flight Centre, 110 Aviation Avenue, Brantford
- City of Brantford Greenhouses, 1 Sherwood Drive, Brantford
- Canadian Military Heritage Museum, 347 Greenwich Street, Brantford
- Chiefswood National Historic Site, 1037 Highway 54, Ohsweken
- Creek View Acres Nursery & Orchard, 400 Johnson Road, Brantford
- Five Oaks Centre, 1 Bethel Road, Paris
- Glen Morris United Church, 453 East River Road, Glen Morris
- His Majesty’s Royal Chapel of the Mohawks, 301 Mohawk Street, Brantford
