Main Street and Dumfries Street Reconstruction Update
As work continues on the Main Street and Dumfries Street reconstruction project, please note that asphalt repair work is scheduled to begin on Monday. Residents and motorists may experience temporary delays and intermittent lane restrictions while work is underway. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as these important infrastructure improvements continue.
When?
- Monday, May 25 to Wednesday, May 27, 2026 (weather dependant)
What is the update?
- Base asphalt repairs, parking bay surface asphalt and driveway paving on Main Street from Washington Street to Creeden Street
Impacts:
- Road or sidewalk impacts: Emergency access will be maintained during paving operations
- Detour routes: Please follow posted detour signage
- Parking: Residents are to park on side streets outside of the work area to allow paving operations to be completed without delay
- Access (personal driveways, services or amenities): Access to driveways during paving will be limited during working hours
