Public Notice - Dundas Street East Road Reconstruction

Project details: With work beginning in 2025, this multi year infrastructure project is replacing aging underground services and will improve how the road functions for drivers, pedestrians, businesses, and future employment growth in the area.

When: Tuesday, September 22, 2026 – early November 2026 

Why: Installation of underground services continue

Update details - To continue installing underground services:
• Access to Green Lane from Dundas Street East in Paris will be closed. 
• Governors Road will also be closed to eastbound traffic from the Dundas Street intersection. A detour will be in place. Westbound traffic will be maintained.

Impacts:
• Intersection impacts: Green Lane (from Dundas St E) - No through traffic, no local access, no emergency access⁠

• Detour routes: Please see the map and details below:
   o Green Lane (from Dundas St E) - No through traffic, no local access, no emergency access ⁠
   o Access to Green Lane via Consolidated Drive/Iarocci Boulevard – Detour signage to be posted⁠
   o No right turns from Paris Road to Governors Road East⁠
   o Westbound traffic only on Governors Road East to Dundas Street East intersection. Eastbound traffic will detour along Paris Road.⁠

• Access (personal driveways, services or amenities): Access to businesses including Tim Hortons will be maintained from both Governors Road and Green Lane following the detours
