Public Update - Municipal Airport Boundary Adjustment and Community Feedback

City of Brantford and County of Brant officials are committed to ensuring that community feedback plays a meaningful role in shaping any future decisions related to the proposed Airport Boundary Adjustment. Over the past month, extensive input has been collected through the public engagement campaign. Based on the feedback received, both City and County representatives are carefully reviewing the proposal and are seriously considering changes that directly respond to the concerns and perspectives shared by residents.

As a next step, both Councils will be considering potential revisions to the original proposal over the next few weeks and will likely hold statutory meetings towards the end of July to provide further opportunity for public input. Any proposed changes will be shared publicly in advance of these statutory public meetings. This will ensure that the community has sufficient information and time to review and provide informed feedback. City and County officials recognize the importance of listening to the community and remain committed to addressing the feedback received as this process unfolds.
