Sports Field Cancellations

Rain in the forecast? Here’s how we’ll keep you updated on field closures and cancellations

When County of Brant sports fields are closed due to weather conditions, notices are posted on our social media channels (Instagram and Facebook) and website. ⁠
⁠
We aim to have all cancellations posted by 4:00 pm on the day of the rainout (Monday-Friday) at brant.ca/SportsCancellations⁠
⁠
Anything outside of these hours are at the discretion of the staff on site, applicable supervisor, or the umpire/league. If groups choose to cancel themselves they must submit that information in writing (email) to our office (facilitybooking@brant.ca) within 72hrs of cancellation for changes to be made on their permits.⁠
