Update - Fowler Bridge - Bridge Maintenance 2026

Starting on Tuesday, August 4, Fowler Bridge - located on East Quarter Townline Road between Highway 53 and Sixth Concession Road in Burford will be closed for bridge maintenance. During this time, there will be no through traffic. 

When?

• Tuesday, August 4 to Tuesday, August 18, 2026 

Changes during bridge construction period?

• Road impacts: East Quarter Townline Road will be closed at the Bridge, access to 395 East Quarter Townline Road will be from Sixth Concession Road. There are no additional addresses between the bridge and Highway 53.
• Detour routes: Detour signage will be posted along Highway 53, Maple Avenue North and Sixth Concession Road.
• Access (personal driveways, services or amenities): None
• Garbage: None
