Pickleball
Pickleball is a paddle sport played either indoors or outdoors between two teams of one or two players. The game combines elements of tennis and badminton but differs in that it has a non-volley zone. View the How To Play Pickleball (PDF)

Outdoor Courts
The Dawdy Park Pickleball courts are open daily from dawn until dusk and are available for public play at all times outside of the Pickleball Group hours posted below. The Dawdy Park is located at 80 Hartley Avenue in Paris.
The County of Brant has recently painted lines in some of our Tennis Courts to also allow for Pickleball play. These locations include:

- Location: Mount Pleasant Park, 555 Burtch Road, Mount Pleasant
- Access: General public can use the courts from 7:00 am to 10:30 pm. Gates are not locked at this location. After dusk you can activate lights by turning on the switch located on parks shed.

- The tennis courts are open daily to the public (with the purchase of a key) from 7:00 am to 10:30 pm outside of the St. George Tennis Club hours. Visit the Tennis webpage for hours
- To turn on and off the lights, push the green or red button inside the box on the side of the concrete bunker located on the north side of the tennis courts

Pop-up Courts
The County of Brant is pleased to offer pop-up Pickleball Court. These courts require players to bring their own net, paddles and balls. The pop-up courts are located at:
- Optimist Park - Paris
- Bemrose Park - Paris
- Rest Acres Ridge - Paris
- Sunny Hill Park - St George
Don't have equipment? The County of Brant has partnered with the County of Brant Public Library to offer residents the opportunity to borrow all equipment needed including a net, paddles & balls. Visit the Brant Public Library website for more full details. Please note, residents will need to have an account/library card to borrow equipment.
Drop-In Indoor Pickleball
Ages: 18+
Fee: $7.00 per visit

Adult Registered Indoor Pickleball
Adult co-ed pickleball runs weekly, all skill levels are welcome. Players will organize into teams weekly and call their own games. Staff will be onsite to help mediate and to ensure game play runs smoothly.

Senior Open Play Pickleball - Sojourn
Sign up is required for each day you wish to play, and registration closes at 8:00 am on the program day.

- Days: Monday, Wednesday, Friday
- Times: 9:30 am to 11:30 am
Senior Intermediate Pickleball - Sojourn Church
This level of play is ideal for those who consider themselves avid pickleball players and are looking for a higher level of competition.

- Location: Sojourn Church, Paris
- When: Tuesday - 1:00-3:00 pm
- When: Thursday - 11:00 am-1:00 pm

- Seniors must purchase a Pickleball Visit Pass prior to registering for a Pickleball time.
- Purchase your Pickleball Visit Pass online on the COB Connect Webpage, under “Memberships” or in person at the Brant Sports Complex.
