County of Brant Civic Holiday Hours

The County of Brant wishes everyone a safe and enjoyable Civic Holiday long weekend! Please note that some County facilities and services will have modified hours on Monday, August 3.

County of Brant Customer Service Offices:

• County of Brant customer service offices will be closed on Monday, August 3 and will re-open on Tuesday, August 4 at 8:30 am. 
• Online chat will be unavailable at this time. 
• A number of services are available online. Visit the Online Services webpage for a complete list. 
• For urgent matters, call 519.44BRANT (519.442.7268), 1.855.44BRANT and stay on the line to be transferred.

County of Brant Community Centres and Arenas:

• All Community Centres will be closed on Monday, August 3

County of Brant Fire Administration:

·       County of Brant Fire Administration office at 61 Dundas Street E will be closed on Monday, August 3

·       Regular hours resume on Tuesday, August 4

County of Brant Public Library:

All County of Brant Public Library branches will be closed on: 

• Sunday, August 2 and Monday, August 3
• Regular hours resume Tuesday, August 4

Building Division:

• Inspection requests received before 3:00 pm on Friday, July 31 will be scheduled for Tuesday, August 4.
•  Inspection requests received after 3:00 pm on Friday, July 31 will be scheduled for Wednesday, August 5

Garbage and Recycling:

• Regular curbside collection will occur on Monday, August 3
• Please place your waste at the curb by 7:00 am.

Landfills:

• The Biggars Lane Landfill and the Paris Waste Transfer and Recycling Station will be open for regular hours on Saturday, August 1.
• Biggars Lane Landfill will be closed on Monday, August 3.

• Brant Transit will operate with regular service hours on Monday, August 3.
