Powerline Road at Bishopsgate Road Closure Notice

Construction will take place this week on Powerline Road.

What and where is construction happening?

• Powerline Road, including the intersection at Bishopsgate Road, will be milled and new asphalt will be placed. 

When?

• Thursday, May 28 7:00 pm to Friday, May 29, 7:00 am

Why?

• Heavy truck traffic has impacted the integrity of the surface asphalt and gravel shoulder at the intersection of Powerline Road and Bishopsgate Road.

Changes during construction period?

• Intersection impacts: Powerline Road will be closed from Cleaver Road to Bishopsgate Road between 7:00 pm on May 28 until 7:00 am May 29. Bishopsgate Road will be flagman controlled to one lane allowing traffic in each direction
• Road impacts: Traffic control and flaggers will be present to assist.
• Access (personal driveways, services or amenities): Local and Emergency access from Cleaver Road only.
• Garbage: No Impacts anticipated.
