Watermain construction on Grand River Street North
Please be advised that watermain construction will take place on Grand River Street North, north of William Street, beginning Monday, July 6 and continuing until approximately Thursday, July 9.
To complete the work as efficiently as possible and minimize service disruptions to local businesses, the contractor will be working 24 hours a day throughout the construction period. This work includes watermain installation and service connections to businesses along Grand River Street North.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as this important infrastructure work is completed.
Impacts:
- Intersection impacts: No Change
- Road or sidewalk impacts: No Change
- Detour routes: No Change
- Parking: No Change
- Access (personal driveways, services or amenities): No Change
- Garbage: No Change
- Utilities: No Change
Noise/light: Heavy equipment and dump trucks will be working through the night. Additional lighting will also be onsite for worker safety.
Service Disruption: Water service will be turned off for properties along Grand River Street North from William Street to 139 Grand River Street North. Impacted properties will receive notification regarding water service interruption regarding their specific time/date.:
