Voter Resources

You qualify to vote in the County of Brant Municipal election if: 

  • You are at least 18 years old on Election Day
  • You are a Canadian citizen,
  • If you are a resident of the County of Brant 
  • If you rent or own property in the County of Brant and
  • You are not otherwise prohibited by law from voting.

Are you on the list to vote? Check early online

  • Check if you are on the voters' list at registertovoteon.ca
  • You can check, update or add yourself to the voters list on registertovoteon.ca until August 12
  • Starting on August 13, you may register directly with the County of Brant by contacting elections@brant.ca or 519.44BRANT (442.7268)/TF 1.855.44BRANT Ext 2207.

Voter Information Letter and Voter Pin

To vote you will need a Voter Information Letter. Eligible voters will receive a Voter Information Letter by mail. This letter will include your unique Voter PIN along with your full name and address. This letter will also provide instructions on how to vote online or over the phone and will include a website address and phone number.

If you have not received a Voter Information Letter in the mail by October 12th, 2026, please contact the County of Brant by phone at 519.44BRANT(442.7268) / TF 1.855.44BRANT or email elections@brant.ca.
