Public Notice – Emergency Training Exercise and Office Closure

Please be advised that the County of Brant, in partnership with local emergency services and response agencies, will be conducting an emergency management training exercise in the downtown Paris area on Thursday, June 4, 2026, between 8:30 am and 10:30 am.

During this time the County of Brant Customer Service Office located in downtown Paris will be closed. The public is asked to contact the County at 519.44BRANT (442.7268), 1.855.44BRANT, email info@brant.ca, visit www.brant.ca/OnlineServices or visit the Burford Customer Service Office, located at 26 Park Ave, Burford) if in-person assistance is required.

During the exercise, you may notice an increased presence of emergency responders and emergency vehicles in the area as part of the training.

Please note:

• This is only a training exercise
• Outside of the temporary office closure, there will be no disruptions to downtown businesses, traffic, or public access in the area

The purpose of this training exercise is to support ongoing emergency preparedness and inter-agency coordination to help ensure the continued safety and wellbeing of our community.
