Public Notice - Temporary Closure of Biggars Lane Landfill for Scale House Replacement

The County of Brant is replacing the scale house at the Biggars Lane Landfill, which has reached the end of its service life. To safely complete this work, the landfill will be temporarily closed to all traffic on the following dates:

• Friday, August 21, 2026
• Saturday, August 22, 2026
• Monday, August 24, 2026

During these closures, the Paris Transfer Station will remain open and operating as usual for residential users on Saturday, August 22.

There will be no impacts to surrounding roads or properties. The closure applies only to access to the Biggars Lane Landfill.

Residents and businesses planning to use the landfill are encouraged to make alternate arrangements during the temporary closure, please visit brant.ca/Landfills for more information.
