Victoria Day Hours

As we celebrate the Victoria Day long weekend, some County of Brant services may have adjusted hours or temporary service changes. Please see below for important holiday service updates and closures:

County of Brant Customer Service Offices:

• County of Brant customer service offices will be closed on Monday, May 18 and will re-open on Tuesday, May 19 at 8:30 am.
• Online chat will be unavailable at this time.
• A number of services are available online. Visit www.brant.ca/onlineservices for a complete list.
• For urgent matters, call 519.44BRANT (519.442.7268) or toll-free 1.855.44BRANT and stay on the line to be transferred to the emergency dispatcher.

County of Brant Community Centres and Arenas:

• County of Brant Community Centres are closed on Monday, May 18
• Sports fields remain open.

County of Brant Fire Administration:

• County of Brant Fire Administration office at 61 Dundas Street E will be closed on Monday, May 18
• Regular hours resume on Tuesday, May 19

County of Brant Public Libraries:

All County of Brant Library branches will be closed on:

• Sunday, May 17 and Monday, May 18.
• Regular hours resume Tuesday, May 19.

Garbage and Recycling:

• Regular curbside collection will occur on Monday, May 18.
• Please place your waste at the curb by 7:00 am.

Landfills:

• Solid Waste Facilities will be open for regular hours on Saturday, May 16.
• The Biggars Lane Landfill will be closed on Monday, May 18.

Public Transit:

• Brant Transit will not operate on Monday, May 18
• Regular service hours will take place on Saturday, May 16 and Sunday, May 17.

• Building inspections will not take place on Monday, May 18. Any inspections requested will take place the following business day.
