Creating meaningful connections between newcomers and long-time Canadian and established immigrants. Canada Connects fosters inter-cultural awareness and acceptance, and supports volunteering to better understand the contribution of immigrants and the challenges they face in Canada.

DGB Connect: Welcoming Newcomers
DGB Connect is a Darmont GivesBack initiative designed to strengthen inclusion, belonging, and community connection for newcomers, immigrants, refugees, and racialized individuals living in the County of Brant, in partnership with the County of Brant and the Brant OPP, with funding provided through the Ontario Community Safety and Policing grant program.

Newcomer Welcome Bags are available at the following County of Brant locations:
- Brant Sports Complex, 944 Powerline Road in Paris
- Open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
- Open Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8:30 am to 8:00 pm
- Burford County of Brant Customer Service Office, 26 Park Ave in Burford
- Open Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
- Paris County of Brant Customer Service Office, 66 Grand River Street North in Paris
- Open Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
