The Medical Officer of Health (MOH) for Grand Erie Public Health is issuing a heat alert for the Grand Erie Public Health region (Brantford‑Brant and Haldimand‑Norfolk), effective Tuesday, June 30, 2026.

City of Brantford and County of Brant officials are committed to ensuring that community feedback plays a meaningful role in shaping any future decisions related to the proposed Airport Boundary Adjustment.

The County of Brant is considering a zoning by-law amendment for select municipally owned parking lots and nearby lands in Downtown Paris as part of the ongoing Downtown Paris Zoning Project.

The County of Brant currently owns an unopened road allowance on lands commonly identified as Lane Block 44, Plan 2M1968; County of Brant, being PIN 32053-1136, located in the former Township of Paris.

This project is currently on schedule. This multi year infrastructure project is replacing aging underground services and will improve how the road functions for drivers, pedestrians, businesses, and future employment growth in the area.

Beginning on July 1, more than 23 locations across the County of Brant will undergo road milling and paving. This maintenance work involves removing broken and potholed asphalt and replacing it with a new asphalt surface to create smoother, safer roads.
