Construction in Downtown Paris is underway, with this phase expected to be completed in late summer to early fall 2026.
St. George Road/ Main Street North Road reconstruction will begin on Monday, May 4.
Installation of a new traffic control signals at the intersection of Colborne Street West, Pleasant Ridge Road and Forced Road. Activation of these signals is scheduled for June 2026.
Curb and Sidewalk installation will begin on Main Street in Paris on Wednesday, April 29.
Work continues on Dundas Street East and Paris Road. This multi year infrastructure project is replacing aging underground services and will improve how the road functions for drivers, pedestrians, businesses, and future employment growth in the area – bringing new jobs close to home.
On Sunday, April 26, 2026 there will be several temporary road closures as the Paris to Ancaster Bicycle Race passes through the County of Brant.
Construction on Hutchings Road in Paris has been extended.
The Peddie Bridge, located on Big Creek Road between Mulligan Road and County Road 22, will be closed for rehabilitation work.
Update as of July 3, 2026: Access to Washington St. from Dundas Street West will remain closed to all traffic until Fall 2026. This closure will assist with traffic flow coming from downtown Paris and reduce the potential for great congestion on Dundas Street West during peak traffic times.
