About Camp Phoenix
Camp Phoenix is a free, immersive day camp for those who identify as young women ages 14-18 years old who are interested in learning more about a career in firefighting. Our mission is simple; to discover, educate and empower the next generation of future female fire professionals.
Camp Phoenix simulates real-life scenarios in all areas of fire prevention and suppression including:
- Search and rescue
- Forcible entry
- Auto extrication
- Basic first aid and more.
Campers will receive empowering interactions from people in all areas of the fire service, not just firefighting, through learning lunches which will welcome a new guest speaker every day.
