The County of Brant is modernizing its entire zoning framework through the introduction of a new Community Planning Permit System (CPPS). This new system combines several approval processes into one streamlined process ensuring community needs are at the heart of every decision.
Installation of a new traffic control signals at the intersection of Colborne Street West, Pleasant Ridge Road and Forced Road. Activation of these signals is scheduled for June 2026.
If you are interested in running as a candidate, working on a campaign team or registering as a Third-Party Advertiser in the 2026 Municipal / School Board Election, you are invited to attend the event to hear speakers on the elections process, legislative requirements, campaigning and what it’s like to serve on municipal Council.
Curb and Sidewalk installation will begin on Main Street in Paris on Wednesday, April 29.
Work continues on Dundas Street East and Paris Road. This multi year infrastructure project is replacing aging underground services and will improve how the road functions for drivers, pedestrians, businesses, and future employment growth in the area – bringing new jobs close to home.
The County of Brant will be conducting routine maintenance work on the Paris Sanitary Sewer System in the following areas:
On Sunday, April 26, 2026 there will be several temporary road closures as the Paris to Ancaster Bicycle Race passes through the County of Brant.
