Gravel to hardtop and surface treatment will begin this week. The work will happen throughout the summer on various roads.
Construction will take place this week on Powerline Road.
Please be advised that the Dwayne Bereziuk Memorial Disc Golf Course, located at the Green Lane Sports Complex, will be closed on Wednesday, May 27 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm for tree removal and maintenance.
For the week of May 25, 2026, the Ministry of Transportation has informed the County of Brant that ramp closures will continue at Highway 403 and Rest Acres Road.
Please note that upcoming construction on Watt’s Pond Road is set to begin on Monday, June 1. During this time, Watt’s Pond Road between Pinehurst Road and West River Road will be closed for culvert installation work. Residents and motorists are encouraged to plan ahead and follow posted detour routes.
As work continues on the Main Street and Dumfries Street reconstruction project, please note that asphalt repair work is scheduled to begin on Monday. Residents and motorists may experience temporary delays and intermittent lane restrictions while work is underway.
Great news Brant - this project remains on schedule! This multi-year infrastructure project is replacing aging underground services and will improve how the road functions for drivers, pedestrians, businesses, and future employment growth in the area.
The County of Brant is now accepting requests for the 2026–2027 Indoor Turf Season (October 13, 2026 to May 23, 2027).
